John and Caroles Wedding

John and Carole were married in Bedford on the 11th September, This photograph was taken just after the ceremony, a simple affair, attended by close friends and family.
"I met John twenty six years ago" said Carole, "but things didn't work out then. Last year I found myself thinking a lot about him, but I had no idea where he was. My daughter suggested I search on the internet, which I did. I sent a message to John and here we are!"

Outside the Registry Office, and a little more relaxed, the happy couple enjoy a joke with some of their guests

The celebrations carried on the next day at a party with the music supplied by the John Verity band and friends including Rod Argent

Bedford River Festival

These Pictures taken by Kazy at the BEDFORD RIVER FESTIVAL Which was fantastic, but as usual the UK weather let us down. As you can see there was bright sunshine -but a freezing wind - which didn't keep the crowds away (it didn't do a lot for fingers or nuts!!) The Rest of the Band - Bob Henrit on drums (Argent, Phoenix, Charlie, Kinks) Bob Skeat on bass (Wishbone Ash, Toyah, Princess Stephanie) were great as usual, and the people there were into the music, despite the mud. Usual stuff for festivals, PA trucks up to axles in mud, no free beer (only kidding !!)

PA by TRANSMEDIA on the main stage was excellent - PA by SID on the bandstand was cookin' too.

We hope to be back again next year and hopefully the promoter can arrange better weather
